• Ethics in Real Estate - This online course covers duties to clients and customers, duties to the public, duties to brokers, and case studies.
• Tax Free Exchanges - The topics included in this course covers the basics of a tax free exchange of investment property. Topics covered include requirements of a tax free exchange, types of exchanges and the methods for transferring title when an exchange takes place.
• Overview of Real Estate Law - The subject matter of this continuing education course will cover themes such as provisional status, reciprocity agreements, real estate forms, continuing education, prelicensure, and the Indiana Real Esate Commision.
• Contracts and Closing Statements - This course will provide knowledge for preclosing procedures, RESPA, closing staements, prorations, contracts used in real estate, discharge of contracts, federal and local laws and requirements, and pertinent legal information.

These are the current requirements for renewing your Indiana Real Estate Broker license. We will always provide the newest information available and will update the requirements as soon as there are changes.


• To renew your Real Estate Broker License in the state of Indiana, you are required to complete 16 hours of continuing education every 2 years.
• Real Estate Broker Licensees are required to have a minimum of 2 hours of continuing education in three Board approved topics such as Indiana Agency Law, Antitrust, Ethics and Standards, etc.
• Any continuing education hours that are accumulated above the renewal requirements shall not be carried over to the next 2-year renewal cycle.
• Licensees shall retain a record of continuing education course completion for a minimum of 4 years after the end of the renewal cycle.
